Our Story

Love goats; love the outdoors!  This was our inspiration behind the family run business, Trek-a-Goat!

Having experienced the rather overworked idea of walking with alpacas, we were looking for that new adventure that would add a different character to the outdoors!  Our Anglo Nubian goats playful personalities, gentle nature, and ability to carry gear make them the perfect trekking companions.

There was also another driving force behind the venture.  This was to find a 'use' for the male goats that are born within the dairy industry.  These males are mostly sent for meat so being able to offer them a different life, really meant the world to us.  Our males are castrated so no need to worry, they don't smell!

They really are special individuals and now, we want to share that experience with you!
